The Hubble Space Telescope is thirty-one-years old, has made 1.5 million observations, and has had 18,000 published academic papers based on its data. It is being replaced by the James Webb Space Telescope with a 21’4” primary mirror compared to the 8-foot Hubble mirror. It will revolutionize deep space research.
