Sermon – “What’s In A Name?“

It is fascinating to realize that nearly nine out of ten people in the world believe in the existence of “god.” Why is that? The people who believe are also divided up into many different religions. Why is that? The reasons for these observations are discovered through the identification of the two most significant historical events that have ever occurred on planet earth. These events, and two names associated with them, resolve the two difficulties that all religions face: the knowableness of God and the holiness of God.
