Scott Boeser is a trained, experienced Christian counselor. In addition to his counseling ministry, Scott served for five years in Slovakia as a missionary where he participated in Christian camp ministry using sports as an outreach to young people. Another primary ministry for Scott was his outreach to the prisons around Slovakia where he had the opportunity to preach and teach the Gospel. Lastly, Scott used the ESL approach to build relationships with business professionals and share the Good News.
Scott Boeser responded to God’s call to become an Associate Evangelist with FaithSearch International, after returning from his five years in the mission field. Originally from Minneapolis, MN, Scott received a BA in Religious Studies, and a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. For many years Scott operated a private practice offering Christ-centered, biblically-based counseling to individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, fear, and anger, as well as marriage counseling.
As an Evangelist / Teacher, Scott works with churches and groups throughout the United States, proclaiming the Gospel with evidence. Scott is currently residing in the Twin Cities. He will also continue his personal ministry in the lives of others by seeking to rebuild his counseling ministry and working alongside IMF staff as a volunteer in the Missions department as well as assisting in various special events put on by IMF.
Scott is single, and considers himself a “professional uncle,” having sixteen nieces and nephews.
