In these difficult times, don’t despair: THERE IS HOPE. God has not abandoned us; not to the global pandemic, nor to our own sin.
This Easter season, the message of God’s free gift of eternal life is exactly what we need to hear. In the crucifixion, Jesus paid for the sin that separates us from God. In His resurrection, He demonstrated that He has OVERCOME DEATH and we have no need to fear.
Host Lee Michaels (KKMS radio, AM 980 in the Twin Cities) interviewed Dr. Don Bierle on the resurrection, Thursday, April 9. The show is called Crosswalk. The program is archived and can be streamed at the KKMS podcast page.
- “We have seen the Lord!” was the exclamation of Jesus’ disciples. The discovery transformed their lives forever (John 20:25).
- “But some were doubtful” (Matthew 28:17). Was the declaration of Jesus’ resurrection a hoax or history?
- Jesus said, “O foolish men and slow of heart to believe…” Then He shared the evidence for the truth of His historical and bodily resurrection (Luke 24:25-27).
This presentation follows Jesus’ example: sharing the evidence and affirming resurrection truth so that all may declare by faith “I have seen the Lord!” (John 20:18).
Tell your friends about the program, and be prepared to share the hope you have in Christ (2 Peter 3:15). The interview includes apologetic information and tips on how to answer questions about the Easter events. Finally, pray. This message will indeed give hope.
