On the road again! Actually, this trip will not be covering as much ground as were most of my recent ones–to the Urals, Siberia, Caucasus, Ukraine, etc.
Moscow alone, having a population of 12 million, should be quite enough for three weeks of classes, lectures, presentations, and preaching. At least, I thought so when I started planning this trip. Well, as it is said, “If you want to make God laugh–tell Him about your plans.” I have learned, therefore, to p l a n p r a y e r f u l l y , that is to simply make myself available to whatever routes and itineraries He has in mind for me.

This time He graciously allowed me to stay and teach mostly in Moscow, and only travel out to Tula, Kashira, Kolomna, and Belgorod on one- or two-day visits. I will teach the FaithSearch Discovery curriculum at a couple of state universities, at a number of public schools teachers’ conferences, and in three Christian colleges (graduate and undergraduate levels).
I will try some new material which I have developed recently with the help of our FaithSearch crew on reaching out to Muslims and to Muslim culture. I want to run it by a “friendly” crowd first before taking it to the “Stans” on my upcoming trips.
There is also going to be a venture to a new territory and a new culture at the end of this teaching tour as I partner with a missionary family from Minnesota in Sofia, Bulgaria, to, God willing, extend our Gospel with Evidence outreach to yet another culture and language. I am furthermore making contacts with Bulgarian Orthodox Church community to hopefully labor together in the fields of the Lord!
As always, I am asking for your prayers for safety of my travel, for the Lord’s blessing on my teaching and for comfort and well-being of my family back in America.
