No water in the lavatory? The “blue screen of death” on the monitors for the whole nine-hour flight? I am not surprised when little things like that happen on a flight to Russia. We live in a fallen world and some parts of it simply has a tendency to “fall” more often. Seriously, the flight was fine and even allowed me an extra chance to review my PhD abstract which was due on the next morning. Unfortunately, they returned it to me with “some minor remarks” and I had to spend a good part of this weekend working on it again. My next due date is Monday, 11 am. January-February 2013 teaching trip to Russia. Getting ready
Getting ready for the next trip involves connecting with dozens of people over E-mail, phone, and Skype™ to propose (or respond to an invitation); to schedule; and then to confirm each event for my three weeks in Russia. Please pray that my rather intense travel and teaching schedule holds. At this point, I plan to spend most of my time in and around Moscow, with two three-day trips to Southern Russia and then to Karelia. Please also pray for my audiences’ hearts (teachers, students, church leaders) to be open to the Gospel with Evidence!

This does not mean that miracles are a violation of natural law. Rather, they have a cause which transcends nature. [Read more…]
