We are grateful for people who have made a commitment to pray for us personally and for this ministry. Below are some matters in which we need wisdom and God’s help right now:
- Discovery Lay School of the Bible
Good progress is being made in the development of the online school. We are testing software for hosting the school. We just gave approval for the purchase of a high quality classroom equipment: camera, projector and screen, an audio recorder, and tripods. With these things we will be able to record weekly live classes, enabling anyone to learn via recordings. Dr. Don just finished the preparation of the first course though it will not be available until the school debuts later this fall. Many topical sermons and previous teaching series are being gathered for review. Some will be posted in the school for all to hear or see. Pray for God’s anointing on this major ministry project. There will be no charge for enrollment in the school or for registration in the courses. - Russian Ministry
We praise God that Dr. Oleg Voskresensky was able to return to his ministry in Russia with a recent three-week mission tour of eastern Russia. His interesting report is posted on his blog. Pray for a full schedule as he plans to return in October. - Live Stream on Facebook®
Dr. Don completed an eleven-week discipleship series from his manual Growing Faith. It is available online among our Facebook recording. Later this fall Growing Faith will be added as a course at the above school. Don is taking a sabbatical from Facebook for the month of September so he can focus more on the courses for the school. Pray for a special enabling by the Holy Spirit. Co-host Adrian Van Vactor will continue with guests at our Facebook Live slot on Tuesday evenings at 6:00 PM central time. FaithSearch Prayer
- We believe God would bless a renewed Spanish ministry at FaithSearch. Pray for God’s provision of the right person to join our evangelism and discipleship staff.
- To continue developing courses for the future School, some audio/visual equipment will be set up and taken down wherever Dr. Don teaches. To do that himself would take away his focus and effectiveness in teaching God’s Word. Pray for someone at each location (Sioux Falls, SD, and Surprise, AZ) who would view this tech need as a personal ministry to the Lord.
- All of our evangelists and teachers are responsible for doing deputation (raising their own prayer and financial support). God has blessed these efforts, but most have to get by with less than a full salary. Pray for Adrian, Oleg, pastor Yuri, and Dr. Don, that we would gain additional supporters and that God would make the income reach to meet every need.
- We minister to thousands of people each year, whether through live events, Gospel publications, or online. We are constantly extending the Good News of salvation through Jesus to the lost and teaching believers to grow in their faith. Pray for an abundant harvest (Matthew 9:37-38).
