The Evidence of Archaeology
Years ago, an objection by critics of the Christian faith was that there was no evidence that Jesus ever lived. Today that position is simply untenable. Historical research scholar, Dr. Edwin Yamauchi, already in the late twentieth century set the record straight on this: “From time to time some people have tried to deny the existence of Jesus, but this is really a lost cause…There is overwhelming evidence that Jesus did exist…” (Quoted in The Case for Christ, Lee Strobel, p.81).
