Meet our Staff
Our four part time office staff have a combined fifty-five years of ministry service with FaithSearch. What commitment! What a blessing! They all love the Lord and serve Him with gladness.
Kristi Wanamaker, in her twenty-fourth year, has the greatest staff tenure with FaithSearch. She is the Director of Events Management and Partner Services, our “bridge” to event hosts and church ministry partners. Kristi helps the evangelists to recruit, set-up, and follow-up each evangelism and discipleship event.
Due to our small staff, she and the others wear several “hats,” such as hosting the office, stuffing envelopes, taking material orders, etc. She has been my “right-hand” assistant for many of my forty-two years as president.
Rick Wattman, in his twentieth year, is the Director of Communications and Publications. He reviews and edits most communications that leave the office, including my own writings. Our goal is to represent Christ in a professional way. Of course, we save money on publications (including Surprised by Faith) because Rick is capable of layout and attractive illustration, and of making files ready to be sent to the printer. Furthermore, if something digital goes wrong in the office, who do we call? Rick!
Julie Braun, in her tenth year, is our Operations Manager. This means office oversight, accounts receivable and payable, mailing list management, as well as making sure the mailings actually go out, and many other details. She is often the voice you hear when you call the office. My job is so much easier and efficient because of Julie – my pleasant, reliable, resourceful, and yes, even indispensable servant in the office. (But I must not build her up too much lest someone nab her from us!)
Adrian Van Vactor is in his first year on staff but has been a veteran evangelist with us for several years. In addition to his role as a Gospel illusionist, Adrian is our social media director, serving as my co-host on Facebook live streams. He also posts my recordings and writings on social media platforms. He maintains and upgrades our Web site. Finally, he oversees our international relationships with ministry affiliates in other countries. I count it a privilege to have him as a ministry colleague.
