Scientific Breakthrough?

A geneticist in Iceland announced with exultation, “My understanding is that we have basically eradicated Down syndrome from our society. There is hardly ever a child with Down syndrome in Iceland anymore.”

A breakthrough genetic cure? Hardly! They accomplished it by eugenics–the killing of unwanted babies by abortion. Nearly 100% of pregnant mothers in Iceland carrying a baby with Down syndrome are advised by doctors to choose abortion–and they do. Excavation by archaeologists just south of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem has yielded an exciting discovery – a likely seal impression (bulla) of the prophet Isaiah from the eight century before Christ.
